Introduction

History of this department

Our school's Beauty Science Department was founded in August 1992. Currently, in response to the needs of social development, we are actively cultivating all-round professional talents with overall beauty styling design, beauty and health care knowledge, beauty industry marketing planning management, and product treatment consulting capabilities.

Educational Objectives

Based on social needs and foreign beauty and fashion-related educational content to cultivate an international perspective, we plan "art styling courses", "beauty and health care courses", and "beauty management courses" to cultivate students' abilities related to professional overall fashion and physical and mental health care , professional knowledge and skills in beauty business management.

Educational Features

We adopt a gradual approach to learning; from basics to advanced skills, students are solidly trained in the arts. And implement the vocational license system and apply modern information technology to cultivate students' ability to design real-time styles. We provide all-round academic and practical courses on beauty, leisure and health care, teach beauty business management and professional foreign languages, and develop core competencies in beauty styling modules with an international corporate outlook.

Educational Extensions

1. Class B and C appraisal coaching classes for beauty, hairdressing, and men’s hairdressing.

2. Cooperate with enterprises to train employees in credit classes.

3. Open training classes for all levels according to social needs.

4. Qualifying skills certification examination for Class B and Class C.

5. Beauty and hairdressing internship salons are distributed to serve faculty, students, and community residents on campus.

6. The spa health center and rhythm classroom regularly develop courses and recruit members to participate.

Educational achievements

-The practical special research project combines the "thematic production" course to conduct special research on actual cases in the beauty, hairdressing and health-related industries.

-Academic research plans, research on technical and vocational education curriculum design and curriculum adjustment, research on sandwich teaching, computer-aided image processing, cosmetics, skin physiology courses, and special projects of the National Science Council.

-Industrial services: Signing of construction-teaching cooperation and industry-university cooperation contracts, providing student scholarships, internships and employment opportunities.

-Graduation Achievements Exhibition:

1. Student Work Display; using students’ self-researched, manufactured, designed and produced works, and on-site presentation of fashion trend learning results, skin care consultation, health testing consultation, and overall styling consultation services.

2. Fashion Show; aiming at various learning subjects of overall artistic beauty, design different stage performances, combining music, lighting, modeling, dance, plot, etc. to show the best stage effect and team understanding.

3. Product Design Exhibition; in cooperation with the Department of Business Design, with the theme of beauty industry-related products, comprehensive concepts in the selection of product types, setting of names, expression techniques of packaging design, and overall design of marketing strategies.

4. Styling competitions; including light makeup, banquet makeup, and special styling competitions, encourage students to use creativity, overall design concepts, and apply what they have learned to their daily lives.
